To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Earth Day, Creatively United for the Planet is hosting its fourth-annual Earth Week Festival, labelled as a “fun, free, all-ages community garden party in a magical setting.” The festival will be held April 25 and 26 at The English Inn, a renowned boutique hotel and wedding venue at 429 Lampson Street in Esquimalt.
Featured entertainment includes live music, short films and documentaries, innovative displays, local food, afternoon tea, yoga, children’s activities, art and art-making, electric car and bike displays, massage and healing arts, a silent auction and a locally-sourced organic green dinner and concert!

For dinner on the 25th, enjoy delicious local organic food with neighbours at Dinner Vert: An Enchanted Garden Dinner Party. The soiree features live music with the Cynthia Davis Trio, followed by a concert with singer/songwriter Pauline Karch and Jazzfest newcomers nFuze! The evening will begin in the tranquil Sunken Garden where tables of eight will be decorated and local chefs present their savoury and sweet creations. Complimentary organic, fair-trade coffee and tea will be provided along with a no-host bar.
After dinner the evening continues with a concert in the beautiful English Inn McClure Mansion. In the event of rain, the dinner and music will be held inside.
