Love gin? Or have an interest, but don’t know where to start? Head to the St. Anne’s Academy grounds in Downtown Victoria on July 29 and 30 to sample gins from international and craft distillers, as well as non-alcoholic drinks.

Between tastings, enter Ginuary’s prize draw, play summer games, picnic in St. Anne’s apple orchard or sit in on one Ginuary’s seminar series events, where experts are set to discuss subjects like local botanicals, sustainability and stills.

Tastings stop at 5 pm, but the party doesn’t. Local DJs Bellyfish and Primitive will play from 1 until 9 pm, so be ready to bust a move with distillers, mixologists, vendors, chefs and fellow gin-lovers.

Throw on your favourite duds because Ginuary judges will award prizes to best-dressed attendees.

A $79 ticket will get you access to the alcoholic and non-alcoholic tasting markets on one of two festival days. Seminars are $20 each, but you can attend all four for $50. Tickets to see the DJs cost $59 on Saturday and $79 on Sunday.

Must be over 19 to enter. Dogs welcome.
