Timeless, slow-fashion is always on trend. Local designer, Nomi Levi, uses linen to capture the effortless layered style that works so well on the West Coast.

Being timeless is always on trend, and the classic clothing collection from slow-fashion brand Nomi Designs will outlive fast-fashion fads. The simple, minimalist pieces are made with natural linen, a fabric that designer Nomi Levi loves and wants more people in B.C. to embrace.

“Many here think that linen is just for summer,” says the Israeli-born designer, who has lived in Canada for 10 years. “But it works all year round and is the perfect fabric for layering.”

Levi’s inspiration comes from observing and being in nature — and the view from her Prospect Lake studio influences her colour palette.

“The earthy colours are close to my heart.”
