The Oak Bay Beach Hotel is inviting guests to experience a tour around the world with their new Wine Regions of the World Series — an assortment of dinners leading guests through celebrated wine havens paired with regionally-inspired menus created by Executive Chef Kreg Graham.
The first dinner begins March 25, 2021, exhibiting the diverse varieties of wine from New Zealand.
Guests will be seated at their individual tables in the elegant Dining Room overlooking the Salish Sea and will savour multiple courses prepared by Executive Chef Kreg Graham, with distinctive and rare wines presented and poured with tasting notes to guide guests through each wine varietal.
“Our hotel has long been known for our elevated culinary events. As we wait for event restrictions to ease, we saw the perfect opportunity to reopen our iconic Dining Room for a new style of dining,” says Christian Sealey, Director of Food and Beverage at the Oak Bay Beach Hotel. “Guests will have the opportunity to be whisked around the world and experience internationally-inspired culinary delights without leaving the comfort of their table.”
The Wine Regions of the World Series begins with New Zealand on March 25, Bordeaux, France on April 8, Tuscany, Italy on April 22 and wines of the Pacific Northwest on May 6, which will lead into the hotel’s fifth year of signature Winemakers Dinners this summer, beginning on May 30, 2021.
Each dinner begins at 6:45pm, with menus beginning from $190 per person, inclusive of tax and gratuity. Seating is limited to 16 guests, and advance reservations are mandatory.
Make your reservation here or contact the Events & Private Dining Team at 250-940-0316 or via e-mail at events@oakbaybeachhotel.com to be added to our waitlist.
Individual, socially distanced tables can be booked for groups of 2 to 6 people, to ensure the provincial health guidelines and physical distancing protocols of the hotel are maintained.
