VFF Sponcon 2024

The Victoria Film Festival (VFF) is turning the big 3-0, and the celebration is about to begin! Starting from February 2nd, get ready to be wowed by a lineup of World, North American, and Canadian premieres, including some fresh-out-of-the-oven Oscar-nominated films – Four Daughters nominated for Best Documentary Feature Film, Perfect Days nominated for Best International Feature Category & Robot Dreams nominated for Best Animated Feature.

The VFF, renowned for its celebration of independent filmmaking and global cinema, is ready to captivate audiences with a diverse selection of films tailored to entertain and engage. Featuring titles like Cannes UnCut, High & Low: John Galiano, the vibrant bossa nova extravaganza Who Shot the Piano Player, and the delightful Wicked Little Letters starring Olivia Coleman, there’s something for everyone.

This year’s edition holds even more allure with exclusive events like In Conversation With Eric McCormack renowned for his role in NBC’s game changing Will and Grace on February 3. Following the conversation, enjoy a screening of his film Free Enterprise, also one of the first films where William Shatner did a send up of himself.
