Cirque du Soleil: Crystal

TD Victoria International JazzFest โ€™25

Big names, rising stars, free shows in public parks โ€” there truly is something for everyone. Just a few acts that caught our eye: the high-energy Canadian jazz-funk band Shuffle Demons, June 27 at The Coda, and New Orleansโ€™ Grammy-nominated supergroup The Rumble, featuring Big Chief Joseph Boudreaux Jr., June 29 at Bullen Park.


BC Crabfest

Nothing says summer like a crab boil by the water, especially when you can enjoy live music and family fun to go with. Head on down to this all-day event, enjoy freshly caught Dungeness crab and celebrate the fishers who keep us well fed.


Canada Day Celebrations

July 1, Inner Harbour, Gorge Road West

Weโ€™re all feeling a little extra proud to be Canadian these days, so you can expect some extra-patriotic celebrations this Canada Day. All the traditional festivities are expected to return to the grounds of the British Columbia Parliament Buildings, plus the Gorge Canada Day Picnic will feature food trucks, a market, art works, live entertainment, canoe rides and so much more.


Victoria Folk Music Festival

July 5, Royal Athletic Park

Organizers say this inaugural one-day event is the first step toward building a nationally recognized folk festival on the Island. 

It features top names in a variety of folk traditions and styles, including Frazey Ford, Joel Plaskett, Harry Manx and Daniel Lappโ€™s BC Fiddle Orchestra. Plus there will be artisan vendors, a music industry expo, a kids zone and loads of food and drink options.
