One of the largest and most celebrated juried art shows in British Columbia, The Sidney Fine Art Show (SFAS) marked its 12th year this October. The 2014 winners included pieces by master artist Leonard Butt and Catherine Moffat.
Held at the Mary Winspear Centre, the SFAS featured over 400 pieces of original fine art — which were winnowed from over 1,040 entries from 441 artists and judged back in September by jurors Nick Tuele, former curator at the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria; Kayleigh Hall, curator and operations manager at the Art Gallery of Calgary; and Janice Robertson, artist and signature member of the Federation of Canadian Artists.
